Dr. Latisha De’Bose grew up in Long Island, NY. She describes her hometown as, “the place where I learned the importance of perseverance and not giving up on your dreams.”
The perseverance was shaped ...by a number of challenges early in her life. Her mother underwent open heart surgery when Dr. Latisha was just 11 years old. The experience forever changed her, and her siblings. That, combined with the pain of watching so many of her mother's friends and family die from complications, many from medications designed to treat their illnesses, shaped her perspective on healthcare, and made her determined to be part of a change for the good. “I knew something had to change. I have made it my mission to be that change, and to help improve the health of everyone in my community."
What patients love most about Dr. Latisha is that she is thorough and diligent. She makes use of her extensive knowledge and experience to provide every patient with the best care possible.
Dr. Latisha defines wellness as keeping your yourself in balance. She maintains her own wellness through prayer, listening to the scriptures, doing outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
