Science has been a lifelong ...passion, and the reason she earned her BS in biology after suffering back pain at Western Illinois University. A friend recommended that she see a chiropractor. Once she experienced a non-invasive approach to health and wellness, her fate was sealed.
During her chiropractic education Dr. Biestek furthered pro-chiropractic legislature in the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) and volunteered at athletic events through Sports Council. During her clinic internship she earned an acupuncture certification at the Veteran's Acupuncture Clinic and did a rotation through the Laser Spine Institute to observe spinal surgeries.
Her Master's in nutrition and human performance (MSNHP) from Logan University enables her to promote patient wellness. She maintains her own by exercising, running, riding motorcycles, cooking and enjoying live music.
Since earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences Dr. Biestek has treated over 17,000 patients by applying her specialties: chronic pain management, nutrition, geriatric wellness, prenatal care and pediatrics.
