All of Dr. Nelson’s patients will tell you that his mission is to share the meaning of health with as many people in the Chicagoland community as possible.
After immigrating from Japan as an infant, ...Dr. Nelson was raised in Branson, MO where he learned to live by Albert Einstein's directive: "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." After enjoying successful chiropractic treatment for a high school injury at age 15, Dr. Nelson began seeing a DC regularly. He soon discovered chiropractic positively affected more than his low back — his allergies, headaches and digestive issues had also been resolved. That's when he realized he’d found the true meaning of health and wellness.
To maintain his own wellness Dr. Nelson enjoys running, functional training, playing football, attending sporting events and traveling. To keep himself in check on a daily basis he refers to Jim Rohn's quote, "Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day."
After completing his BS in biology with a minor in chemistry at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Dr. Nelson earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Logan College of Chiropractic, where he volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House and refined his wellness care specialty.
