What long time patients love most about Dr. Scott is that she lets them know the person behind the doctor. She likes to be herself at the office — whether that means cracking jokes, dancing to the song ...streaming from the clinic speakers, or sharing her own personal challenges. This approach relaxes patients, so treatment and therapies feel more comfortable and coming into the clinic feels more like a friendly visit than an obligatory appointment.
When she was growing up in the small town of Chatham Illinois, Dr. Scott was always proud and comforted by her local police officers who were extremely friendly, caring and engaged in their community. That’s the same type of engagement she strives to provide in her clinic.
Dr. Scott discovered the world of chiropractic care after suffering a lumbar disc injury while weightlifting. She was so amazed with the results that she told her chiropractor she was dropping out of cosmetology school to pursue a chiropractic career.
After successfully treating over 1000 patients, Dr. Scott confidently defines wellness as the state of one’s mind, body and soul. She's a passionate advocate of mental healthcare and manages her own anxiety and depression by enjoying walks, hikes and mudding with her husband, 3 kids, and 2 dogs.
Dr. Scott earned her Chiropractic degree as well as her Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation at the Logan College of Chiropractic — a campus that immediately felt like home to her. She is also a certified chiropractic sports physician and an instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation specialist.
