The first thing patients notice when they enter Dr. Kavanagh's clinic is her energy. She's constantly running around, playing music and having a fun time with patients and staff. She strives to make her ...clinic a fun, lighthearted place, while taking her patients' health very seriously. Patients can expect to learn new stretches or tips that help them feel better and prepare for whatever life throws their way.
Thousand Oaks, CA offered endless outlets for that energy, so Dr. Kavanagh’s childhood there was spent constantly trying new things — from swimming to snowboarding to scuba diving. Her tight-knit community offered a variety of activities and adventures.
While finishing her second year at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo she realized engineering was not her calling. As an extrovert who loves interacting with and helping as many people as possible and a chiropractic patient since age 13, she soon realized that she was meant for a chiropractic career.
Wellness for Dr. Kavanagh means enjoying your favorite activities without pain — without holding back on the dance moves. She hopes to still be dancing and singing to her favorite band when she’s 80 — and chiropractic care can allow her to. She goes to the gym, walks her dog and spends time with family regularly to maintain work-life balance. Since earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Kavanagh has helped over 1000 patients of all ages maintain their wellness and elevate their mood.
