Chiro One of Orland Hills is located on the corner of 159th St and 91st Ave in the Heritage Hill Forum strip mall and next to The Bella Donna Salon and Allstate.
As your Orland Hills chiropractic team, we are committed to delivering the highest level of chiropractic care to each and every patient. Our chiropractic wellness center offers Orland Hills community members the opportunity to prevent and treat injuries, relieve pain and improve overall wellness through chiropractic adjustments and therapies.
The initial exam process is a critical part of your treatment at our Orland Hills chiropractic office. All new patients undergo a non-invasive exam which includes a thorough health history, two X-rays (if medically necessary), a full chiropractic exam including range of motion tests and a doctor’s consultation. The results from your exam are reviewed by our Orland Hills chiropractor to determine the best course of treatment for your needs.
Many patients come to us in pain whether it’s back pain, neck pain, sciatica, shoulder or arm pain, joint issues, arthritis, fibromyalgia, headaches, migraines and more – we see it all. If you’re in pain, our highest priority is to relieve this pain as quickly as possible through a therapeutic care plan. Our Orland Hills chiropractor will work directly with you to design a care plan consisting of adjustments and therapies to relieve your pain. We have many Chiro One patients whose pain decreases significantly after starting care and this is our goal for every patient that walks through our doors.
After pain has been relieved, many patients then move onto corrective care. The goal of this stage of care is to correct any structural abnormalities in the spine and improper posture. Patients who complete the corrective stage of care often find that their pain or health condition is permanently improved.
The final stage of care is wellness! Once patients have graduated from both the therapeutic and corrective care stages, they are able to maintain their spinal health and overall well-being through preventative, wellness-based chiropractic care.
Our Orland Hills chiropractic office is here to serve you! We are looking forward to seeing you in our office soon!

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Michael Testen, D.C., now calls Chicago home. He's thrilled to serve the Orland Hills community as an associate chiropractor ...alongside Dr. Ziad Zayed, D.C.
At only 13 years old, Dr. Michael vividly remembers limping into the chiropractor's office after a wrestling injury—he could barely bend his knee. His chiropractor simply adjusted the area, and the pain suddenly stopped. In fact, it felt like the injury had never happened in the first place.
This experience made such an impact on Dr. Michael that he continued care into his college athletic career at the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. After, he went on to earn his doctorate of chiropractic from Life University. He is national board certified and belongs to the International Chiropractic Association.
Giving, loving, serving with no attachment to the results.
In practice, it's Dr. Michael's personal mission to spread the word of chiropractic to as many people as possible. He's driven to help all ages stay active and healthy, and nothing makes him happier than helping someone learn what chiropractic can do for their health and well-being. When he's with a patient, he's with that patient—nothing else matters.
This singular focus on patient care has brought Dr. Michael across the globe. He's been on two mission trips, one in Haiti and the other in El Salvador, serving those in need with chiropractic care. In his spare time, Dr. Michael enjoys lifting weights, traveling, hanging out with friends and family, attending church, going to the movies and seeing live music—especially country!
Dr. Michael's personal mantra is, "Giving, loving and serving—with no attachment to the results." This saying reminds him of the natural power of the chiropractic adjustment. He adds, "It is only the body that can heal—all I do is help remove any interferences to the innate power of the body."Read More

Chicago native, Dr. Ziad Zayed, doctor of chiropractic (D.C), now enjoys living in the northwest suburbs. He’s thrilled to be serving as the chiropractic ...director of Chiro One Wellness Center of Orland Hills.
Dr. Ziad received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical science and his doctorate of chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences. While at National, Dr. Ziad was involved in the Motion Palpation Club. He also served as a research assistant on a clinical study, as well as participated in a randomized controlled pilot study. I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.
Devoted to helping others improve their health and quality of life, Dr. Ziad decided to become a chiropractor after losing his father at only seventeen years old. His father suffered a massive heart attack due to a prescription drug for his rheumatoid arthritis. This drug, while approved by the FDA, did not have the properly labeling to warn patients of its potentially deadly side effects. After dealing with this painful loss, Dr. Ziad vowed to help people heal naturally and avoid unnecessary prescription medications.
For Dr. Ziad, the best part about being a chiropractor is turning a “non-believer” into a “believer.” Many times patients choose chiropractic as a last resort; they’ve been to many different doctors and haven’t found any relief from their pain. Dr. Ziad loves the moment when patients finally find pain relief with chiropractic treatment. He wants to assure all his patients that it is possible to live a higher quality of life.
In his free time, Dr. Ziad spends a lot of time with his family, especially his godchildren. He can often be found at the gym, keeping in top shape, and loves playing the piano, football and basketball. Dr. Ziad is also trained in martial arts and enjoys meditating.
Dr. Ziad is inspired by the Jimmy Dean quote, "I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination." It reminds him to continually strive for goals he’s set, and to not let anything deter him. Dr. Ziad looks forward to welcoming you to Chiro One Wellness Center of Orland Hills.Read More
