There were plenty of daring adventures to enjoy while growing up in New Hampton, Iowa, where community service became instinctive for Dr. Holcomb. She's always looking for ways to give back. That's why it was natural for her to provide chiropractic care and wellness education to underserved areas on the West Indies island of Bequia during her clinical internship. To maintain her own wellness Dr. Holcomb enjoys traveling with family and her dogs.

After earning her BS in nursing from Luther College, Dr. Holcomb worked as an RN in the surgical/trauma ICU at the Mayo Clinic, then in the ER at Chicago's Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Since earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, with a diplomate in clinical chiropractic pediatrics, she has treated hundreds of patients applying her board-certified specialty in pediatrics and pregnancy.

Dr. Holcomb is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the American Chiropractic Association and the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association. She is trained and highly skilled in delivering Diversified, Gonstead, Pettibon, Thompson, Activator, Toggle and Atlas Orthogonal techniques.

Dr. Lane’s clinic feels like a tight community where everyone knows each other. It seems to recreate the atmosphere of his hometown in Palestine Texas (a small country town between Dallas and Houston) ...where he lived on a hill and enjoyed playing basketball, riding four-wheelers and watching thunderstorms roll in with his siblings.

Working in healthcare to help people has always been on his radar, which is why he got is BS in Biology, but it took him a while to decide on the chiropractor route. Turns out his Enterprise Rent-A-Car management experience comes in handy to this day — he’s always enjoyed helping people out of a sticky situations and brightening their day. A friend who was attending Parker University in Dallas helped him realize that his goals and personality aligned with that route as well.

Wellness for Dr. Lane is a mindset to adapt that optimizes your ability to thrive and do the things you want to do every day. It means your body and mind function the way that they’re supposed to in order to handle everyday stresses. His own physical and mental wellness takes work: playing basketball, lifting weights and stretching, as well as meditating, reading and learning new things. He also gets adjusted every week, limits his sugar and alcohol consumption and loves to play outdoors and visit museums with his daughter.
