Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Carlos grew up surrounded by the island’s natural beauty and vibrant culture. Sports were a major part of his life, and he spent much of his time playing basketball, tennis, and volleyball. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach, relaxing to the sound of the waves. These experiences helped shape his appreciation for movement, balance, and overall well-being.
From a young age, Dr. Carlos was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare through his father, a medical doctor. Watching the respect and gratitude his father received from patients left a lasting impression on him and instilled a deep desire to help others. That influence shaped not only his career path but also his commitment to being a humble, service-driven healthcare provider.
