The youngest of seven kids, Dr. Emily Alsheskie, D.C., grew up in Plymouth Wisconsin. She’s thrilled to continue serving patients and community members as chiropractic director of Chiro One of Eau Claire.
Originally, ...Dr. Emily didn’t have her sights set on chiropractic; she wanted to be a strength and conditioning coach. While attending the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, she had the opportunity to interview a chiropractor. Then she opted into care, noticing tremendous improvements with her digestive issues, energy levels and sleep. While she was completing an internship at a sport fitness gym, she had the opportunity to talk to a couple more chiropractors, and their encouragement motivated her to change her career path.
After graduating with her bachelors, Dr. Emily went on to attend Life University in Marietta, GA, where she earned her doctorate of chiropractic. While there, she was involved in Maximized Living, the League of Chiropractic Women and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Dr. Emily’s favorite part about being a chiropractor is giving people the chance to find relief without having to rely on medications. Her personal mission is to educate, support and act as a resource for any patient or community member looking to better their health. Dr. Emily is especially passionate about working with mothers and their children—before, during and after pregnancy. Being a mom herself, she’s dedicated to teaching the principles of health to families so that children can be raised in healthy, connected homes.
Outside of work, Dr. Emily loves spending time with her son and going to the park, the library or staying busy together in the kitchen. She enjoys yoga, high intensity workouts and exploring other forms of wellness like Reiki and meditation. She also loves reading, audiobooks and podcasts.
