About Chiropractic O'Fallon IL
The initial exam process is a critical part of your treatment at our O’Fallon chiropractic office. All new patients undergo a non-invasive exam which includes a thorough health history, two X-rays (if medically necessary), a full chiropractic exam including range of motion tests and a doctor’s consultation. The results from your exam are reviewed by our O’Fallon chiropractor to determine the best course of treatment for your needs.
Many patients come to us in pain whether it’s back pain, neck pain, sciatica, shoulder or arm pain, joint issues, arthritis, fibromyalgia, headaches, migraines and more – we see it all. If you’re in pain, our highest priority is to relieve this pain as quickly as possible through a therapeutic care plan. Our O’Fallon chiropractor will work directly with you to design a care plan consisting of adjustments and therapies to relieve your pain. We have many Chiro One patients whose pain decreases significantly after starting care, and this is our goal for every patient that walks through our doors.
After pain has been relieved, many patients then move onto corrective care. The goal of this stage of care is to correct any structural abnormalities in the spine and improper posture. Patients who complete the corrective stage of care often find that their pain or health condition is permanently improved.
The final stage of care is wellness! Once patients have graduated from both the therapeutic and corrective care stages, they are able to maintain their spinal health and overall well-being through preventative, wellness-based chiropractic care.
Our O’Fallon chiropractic office is here to serve you””we are looking forward to seeing you in our office soon!

DR. JOHN MISCHEL
Education: Logan College of Chiropractic
Hometown: Fenton, Missouri
Dr. John Mischel was born and raised in the suburbs of St. Louis. He's now thrilled to help support and serve patients and community members as chiropractic ...director of Chiro One of O'Fallon.
For Dr. John, a career dedicated to helping others improve their health was always in the cards. He found himself fascinated by the way different lifestyles affected the aging process and a person's ability to move and function. He noticed that the people who put their health first and required little to no medication were leading active and fulfilling lives as they aged. This led him to discover chiropractic""”a way he could help people live fuller lives through chiropractic care and by sharing the importance of maintaining spinal health and an optimally functioning nervous system.
The power that made the body will heal the body.
It's this passion for helping others that lead him to Southeast Missouri State University, where he earned his bachelor of science in biology, and then to Logan University for a master's of science in sports science and rehabilitation and his doctorate of chiropractic. As someone with a love of sports, chiropractic allowed Dr. John to start working with professional athletes, aiding with movement, function and rehab. However, his goal was always a family practice""”helping folks from all phases of life achieve their true potential.
His favorite part of being a chiropractor is seeing the changes chiropractic can bring to someone's life. He loves watching people live free of pain and restore normal body function so they can achieve their dreams. It's his personal mission to share chiropractic with as many people as possible so they can discover their full potential.
In his spare time, Dr. John loves spending time with his wife, doing outdoor activities like hunting and camping, working on cars, woodworking and home renovation! His favorite quote is from B.J. Palmer: ""œThe power that made the body will heal the body.""Read More
