Dr. Sterling is not the “revolving door” type of chiropractor. She considers her patients family and takes whatever amount of time is necessary to understand each one’s healthcare needs. She believes ...that chiropractic and overall wellness care should be readily available for patients of all ages and strives to deliver it daily with trust and medical integrity.
Trust and integrity are traits she picked up while growing up in Blue Springs, outside of Kansas City where there was always a lot to do (especially with kids who love the Royals & Chiefs). Before becoming a DC, Dr. Sterling owned a personal training company where she worked with athletes and bodybuilders to prevent injury and promote anatomical symmetry. After years of referring clients to chiropractors, she decided to go back to school and earn her degree. It was a tough 7 years, but she couldn't be happier with the decision!
Wellness, according to Dr. Sterling, treating the body as a “whole” and not just the sum of its physical ailments. Caring for your physical, spiritual and mental health is critical — if one is struggling, it can impact the others. To maintain her own wellness, she likes to spend time in nature with her family and two dogs — walking, hiking, bike riding, or just sitting by the lake enjoying the weather. It keeps her grounded and happy.
Since earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Dr. Sterling has successfully treated over 1500 patients by applying her specialties: chronic pain management, Myofascial Release Technique, prenatal care and pediatrics, post-rehab conditioning, radiology and sports injury care.
