STEVENS POINT, WI. — Sep 15, 2026—Chiro One Wellness Centers is pleased to welcome Wisconsin native Dr. Matthew “Matt” Scott to Chiro One of Stevens Point.
A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Scott takes an approachable, whole-person view of health that considers not only chiropractic care, but also movement, nutrition, recovery and the everyday habits that can influence how the body functions.
His goal is straightforward: help people become stronger, healthier and more resilient so they have the capacity to do more of the things that matter to them.
Dr. Scott grew up in Monroe, Wisconsin, and went on to wrestle at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. He later spent time coaching, experiences that helped shape his interest in movement, performance and helping people get more out of what their bodies can do. He ultimately realized that pursuing those interests through healthcare was a better fit than a career spent behind a desk.
Today, that experience continues to influence the way he connects with patients.
Known for an easygoing communication style, Dr. Scottbelieves patients should understand what is happening with their bodies and why it matters. Rather than relying on complicated terminology, he works to make health and movement concepts practical and understandable so patients can take a more active role in their care.
“I want patients to understand their bodies and feel like they have the tools to take an active role in their health,” said Dr. Palmer. “Being healthy isn’t just about being pain-free. It’s about building the strength, resilience and capacity to keep doing more of the things that matter to you.”
At Chiro One of Stevens Point, Dr. Scott works with patients to look beyond individual symptoms and consider the bigger picture of how they move, recover and function in everyday life.
His philosophy recognizes chiropractic care as one part of a broader approach to well-being that also includes movement, nutrition, recovery and healthy daily habits. By helping patients better understand these factors, Dr. Scott aims to support not only how they feel today, but how well their bodies can adapt to the demands of life over time.
