Dr. Robert Aarestad Jr. earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic and has advanced training in Extremity Adjusting. He is passionate about helping patients move better, ...recover from injuries, and maintain the active lifestyles they enjoy.
Originally from Washington, Illinois, Dr. Robert grew up in a small town with a strong sense of community. He appreciated the close-knit environment and the way people came together to support one another, values that continue to influence his patient-centered approach to care today.
Dr. Robert's path to chiropractic began in 2012 when he started working in a chiropractic office, assisting with rehabilitation programs. Until then, he had not fully understood the scope of what chiropractors do. Seeing firsthand how chiropractic care helped people overcome pain, improve function, and regain confidence in their daily lives made an immediate impact on him. He knew right away that this was the profession through which he wanted to help others.
Patients appreciate Dr. Robert's education-first approach to care. He believes that informed patients achieve better outcomes, so he takes the time to explain the cause of their concerns, discuss treatment options, and help them understand how to support their health outside the clinic. His goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and tools they need to take an active role in their recovery and long-term wellness.
For Dr. Robert, wellness means having the freedom to do the things you love without physical limitations. Whether it's work, exercise, hobbies, or spending time with family, he believes people should be able to stay active without worrying about pain beyond the normal challenges of an active life. He strives to maintain his own wellness by staying active, prioritizing his health, and focusing on habits that support long-term function and overall well-being.
