Dr. Scott Pacheco grew up in the small town of Milpitas, California, where everyone knew their neighbors and the kids often would stay out until the street lights came on. His family lives at the base of the mountain foothills, which allowed for many hiking adventures with his brothers and their friends. They used to love to hike the 2 miles to the nearby lake to go fishing.

It was a snowboarding injury that inspired Dr. Scott to become a chiropractor. He took a bad fall and separated his left shoulder. Unable to get an appointment with his primary doctor for two weeks following his injury, he visited his Chiropractor, who had helped him recover from an injury sustained while training for a marathon. Dr. Scott hoped his Chiropractor’s knowledge of muscles and bones would be able to help him with the pain of his shoulder injury as well – and he was right. The Doctor of Chiropractic was able to diagnose the injury and played an important role in helping Dr. Scott recover and regain normal function. “I was already looking for a new career; that was when I decided to become a Chiropractor.”

What Dr. Scott’s patients appreciate most about him is his dedication to serving them and helping them find relief. “I make sure I always get down on their level and look them in the eyes when speaking to them. I show true empathy and strive to do the best by every one of my patients.”

Dr. Scott defines wellness as an ecosystem, incorporating emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing. “I truly believe you need all three in place in order to truly be well.”

When he is not helping patients on their path to wellness, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time outdoors where he finds peace among the trees and the trails of the mountains. During the winter, he enjoys snowboarding and experiencing the peaceful stillness of the snowy landscape. In warmer weather, he loves to sit by the ocean and listen to the crashing waves. And of course, as part of his overall wellness plan, he also gets adjusted regularly and follows a healthy, nutritious diet.
