Dr. Paul Floro
Our Ellisville Chiropractor
Education: Logan College of Chiropractic
Hometown: St. Louis, MO
Dr. Paul Floro describes his hometown as: “St. Louis, the smallest big town, where everyone knows someone.” He has fond memories of enjoying his hometown in all of its seasons, from the excitement of the first winter snowfall, sledding at the famous Art Hill, and celebrating a white Christmas each year, to spending summers at Lake of the Ozarks trout fishing with his dad, brothers, and uncles and making memories with the whole family. He loves the city’s diverse and ever-growing culinary scene with its mix of regional favorites and emerging trends, just one of many reasons why he chose to make it his home for this chapter of his life.
Dr. Paul grew up around the healthcare system. His late father practiced general surgery for 60+ years – all the way to the age of 88 – and his mother, now retired, spent her career as a nurse anesthetist. There wasn’t a day that went by that his family didn’t run into someone who knew Dr. Paul’s dad and was thankful for his care. So it’s no surprise that Dr. Paul knew at a young age that he would one day be a doctor himself. He considers chiropractic care to be not just a profession, but a calling.
What patients appreciate most about Dr. Paul is that he cares about each and every one of them, and listens not just to what they say, but also what their body is telling him.
He defines wellness as the ability to feel good, move well, and live well; to be able to do the day-to-day activities that matter most with minimal or no restrictions, pain or discomfort. But most importantly, true wellness is being able to do the things you love, and fueling the body and mind with the nutrients they need. He maintains his own wellness with chiropractic care to help ensure that his body is in proper form, stable and braced, to help him both live well and care for his patients. He also works out at the gym several times a week, and fuels his body with balanced meals so he can be the best possible version of himself for his 5 year old daughter, the joy of his life.
