Dr. Minh Tran
Our Crystal Lake Chiropractor
Education: Logan College of Chiropractic
Hometown: Lowell, Massachusetts
Hailing from Lowell, Massachusetts—the home of legendary boxer Micky Ward—Dr. Minh Tran brings a bit of that East Coast spirit and an appreciation for the changing seasons to his practice. Some of his favorite memories are from the autumn months, watching the leaves turn those vibrant shades of orange and red, a simple reminder of how much he enjoys the outdoors and the natural rhythms of life.
Dr. Minh’s journey into healthcare wasn’t sparked by one single event, but rather by the mentors who guided him along the way. He often says he stands on the “shoulders of giants,” referring to the people who helped pave his path toward chiropractic. These mentors didn’t just teach him how to be a clinician; they inspired him to be a better person, fueling a lifelong passion for helping others find their way to health.
In the clinic, Dr. Minh is known for his ability to make the complex feel simple. He knows that being in pain can be scary, and he focuses on removing the fear that a patient is somehow “broken” or needs to be fixed. Instead, he empowers them with clear explanations and a deep understanding of their own bodies. To him, the most important part of the job is the partnership he builds with his patients—involving them in their own care so they feel confident and in control.
For Dr. Minh, wellness is simple: it’s the ability to move well and to move often. He believes our bodies are built for action, and staying well means keeping the body adaptable and resilient through consistent challenges. He practices what he preaches by constantly finding new ways to move—whether it’s gymnastics, volleyball, powerlifting, or his more recent pursuit of running. He’s a big believer in getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, knowing that how we approach movement is often a reflection of how we approach life itself.
