Dr. Brodie Medlock
Our Wheeling Chiropractor

Education: Parker College of Chiropractic
Hometown: Mason, MI
Dr. Brodie Medlock grew up loving the outdoors. He spent his childhood playing in the woods or on the family’s pond, enjoying all manner of sports with his family and friends in the small town of Mason, Michigan – and of course, riding his bike all over town with his friends, looking for the next small town adventure.
Looking back on his childhood, he’s grateful for the simple, intimate small town lifestyle that enabled him to hear the crickets singing their evening songs while enveloped by the warm summer breeze.
Dr. Brodie wanted be a healer of all living things for as long as he can can remember. As a child, he cared for the chickens and ducks he incubated from eggs and cared for into adulthood, the frogs he grew from tadpoles, and the family’s many cats and dogs. As he grew, so did his curiosity around the drivers behind optimal living and performance: what did it take for each person to feel their best and live their best life? He was captivated by how the body and brain worked together to keep one healthy – and what led to sickness.
The greatest catalyst in his journey toward becoming a chiropractor was when his children were born. He knew he wanted to do everything he could to help them grow and thrive, and achieve the highest degree of vitality and health possible.
Brodie is his relentless drive to assist patients in achieving wellness. Patients appreciate the time, attention, and energy he devotes to building a connection with each of them, and his dedication to understanding the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit in achieving optimal health.
Dr. Brodie defines wellness as the positive and productive management of the six pillars of living optimally…1. Nutrition/ Hydration 2. Physical Movement 3. Sleep/ Recovery 4. Mindset 5. Social Relationships 6. Spiritual Growth.
He maintains his own optimal vitality and wellness by mindfully fueling his body with proper nutrition and hydrating each day; strengthening and energizing his body with activities he loves; getting adequate sleep; strengthening his connections with old friends and building new ones; and exploring the philosophies and teachings that help to shape his purpose and mission.
