All of Dr. Bauer's patients will tell you that she is the humanitarian who empowered them to take their health into their own hands. She and enjoys educating patients on proactively attaining true health ...and healing through chiropractic. She also loves serving her community as the co-founder and executive director of Chiros Care Free Clinic, which serves Chicago's homeless population.
Growing up in Glen Ellyn, IL she developed a passion for community service, which inspired her move to California for a year-long volunteer program with the non-profit Global Education Partnership. Teaching entrepreneurship to young kids and youth in Western Africa led her to envision herself serving in the healthcare field. She's taken several mission trips to the Dominican Republic to provide free chiropractic care for locals.
While volunteering at various facilities she discovered her future lies in chiropractic — the field that empowers every individual to take their health care back into their hands and maintain their lifelong wellness. To maintain her own, Dr. Bauer loves to plan her next adventure trip, cook for friends, run and bike on Chicago's lakefront and spend time with friends and family.
After completing her BS in biology and Spanish at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Bauer earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences. Since then she's treated hundreds of patients applying a wide range of specialties which she has honed across the globe.
