Dr. Ashley (Asha) Peplinski, D.C., grew up with her parents and three older brothers in southeast Wisconsin. Now, she’s proud to help patients and community members feel and function their best as our chiropractor at Chiro One of Madison West.

When Dr. Asha was a teenager, doctors told her that she had an autoimmune disease. By the end of high school, she was taking around eight different medications and experiencing digestive issues, joint and muscle pain, horrible headaches and her liver wasn’t functioning properly. She even had to have a biopsy. By the start of college, Dr. Asha was miserable, and felt like she was barely living; she couldn’t play the sports she loved and was on the verge of dropping out after missing so much class.

It was then that her aunt suggested chiropractic. Dr. Asha hadn’t planned on going to a chiropractor, but after seeing so many other types of medical doctors and only getting worse, she figured she didn’t have much to lose. After seeing the chiropractor for only one month, she was off seven of her medications. For the first time in a very long while, she felt amazing. Her symptoms disappeared and her energy went through the roof””she even started playing sports again.

This experience changed Dr. Asha’s life and caused her to change her career path to chiropractic, so she could help other people find the same kind of relief she had. After completing her bachelors in biology at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, she went on to earn her doctorate of chiropractic at Life University where she was part of Life’s very first women’s rugby team.

In practice, Dr. Asha’s favorite thing about being a chiropractor is changing lives and teaching patients about healthy lifestyles. She aims to help end unnecessary pain and suffering so that people can reach their full potential. She wants every person to be happy, healthy and living a life they love.

In her spare time, Dr. Asha likes being active. She’s passionate about rugby and many other sports. She enjoys hiking, spending time in nature, reading, arts and crafts, gardening and sailing. She loves spending time with her family, friends and two cats.
