Once she received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Iowa Wesleyan College, Dr. Michelle went on to earn her doctorate of chiropractic at National University of Health Sciences. During her time there, Dr. Michelle was vice president of the Student American Black Chiropractor Association (SABCA).
After watching her nephew suffer from severe asthma and trying medication after medication without relief, Dr. Michelle sought out holistic, natural treatments. She soon learned that chiropractic did more than address injuries and back pain, which led her to decide to become a chiropractor. Her nephew was her first patient and now rarely takes medication.
Dr. Michelle’s personal mission is to serve as many people as possible through chiropractic. In her free time, she likes to travel, watch movies and read novels. She also volunteers at her church’s food and clothing drive and loves spending time with her husband and two children.
