Dr. John Mischel
Our O’Fallon Chiropractor

Education: Logan College of Chiropractic
Hometown: Fenton, Missouri
Dr. Mischel’s patients love how excited he gets about the changes chiropractic can bring into their lives. He genuinely wants to help as many people as possible to live free of pain and optimize their body function so they can achieve their dreams. He like to share with patients his favorite B.J. Palmer quote: “The power that made the body will heal the body.”
A healthcare career was in his cards for Dr. Mischel even as a child growing up in Fenton, Missouri outside of St. Louis. He’s always been fascinated by the effect different lifestyles have on the aging process and one’s ability to move and function. As a young man he noticed that those who put their health first required little to no medication and were leading active, fulfilling lives well into their 80s. That’s when he decided to help more people do the same by optimizing their spinal and nervous system functions through chiropractic care.
He optimizes his own wellness by hunting, camping and exploring nature with his wife, woodworking, as well as restoring cars and homes.
Dr. Mischel’s passion for helping others led him to Southeast Missouri State for a BS in biology, then to Logan University for an MS in sports science and rehabilitation as well as a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. This robust education allowed the sports lover in him to start working with professional athletes, optimizing movement, function and rehabilitation. He also specializes in and deeply enjoys providing family wellness care.
