Dr. Scott Kimbell

Education: University of Western States

Hometown: Round Rock, TX

Dr. Kimbell is known for helping patients help themselves. They’re empowered when they see how much effort he puts into targeting the cause of their injury then customizing corrective exercises to address their unique imbalances — so they don’t return every year. He’s had his share of injuries and frustrations over not being able to do what he loves, and is now determined to prevent patients from living with similar limitations.

Sports were just as much a part of his Round Roc TX childhood as the friendly neighbors, authentic tacos and exquisite BBQ. He grew up playing baseball then started running track and cross country and triathlons. When he worked at a running store customers would constantly inquire which shoes could help mitigate their injuries. He wanted to help but didn’t have the training. After earning his exercise physiology degree at Adams State, he worked as a sports massage therapist with chiropractor who treated injured athletes so they could return to what they loved. Inspired to do the same, Dr. Kimbell enrolled in his mentor’s alma mater, Western States University

Wellness for Dr. Kimbell means maintaining physical and mental health by balancing work with the people and goals that are most important in your life. He’s always educating himself on nutrition, and is happiest when physically active and training for a goal. He loves rock climbing — which he finds challenging and humbling — to explore local crags or smith rock with his girlfriend and dog. He also trail runs, hikes, and backpacks, trying to keep up the pace he had at age 20.

Since earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Kimbell has helped over 3000 patients via active and myofascial release techniques, chronic pain management, corporate wellness and ergonomics, the McKenzie Method, neurology, nutrition, orthopedics, post-rehab conditioning and sports injury treatment.
