Dr. Lane’s clinic feels like a tight community where everyone knows each other. It seems to recreate the atmosphere of his hometown in Palestine Texas (a small country town between Dallas and Houston) where he lived on a hill and enjoyed playing basketball, riding four-wheelers and watching thunderstorms roll in with his siblings.
Working in healthcare to help people has always been on his radar, which is why he got is BS in Biology, but it took him a while to decide on the chiropractor route. Turns out his Enterprise Rent-A-Car management experience comes in handy to this day — he’s always enjoyed helping people out of a sticky situations and brightening their day. A friend who was attending Parker University in Dallas helped him realize that his goals and personality aligned with that route as well.
Wellness for Dr. Lane is a mindset to adapt that optimizes your ability to thrive and do the things you want to do every day. It means your body and mind function the way that they’re supposed to in order to handle everyday stresses. His own physical and mental wellness takes work: playing basketball, lifting weights and stretching, as well as meditating, reading and learning new things. He also gets adjusted every week, limits his sugar and alcohol consumption and loves to play outdoors and visit museums with his daughter.
