
“Poisoned” Apples

What is fall without caramel apples? This recipe is sugar-free, dairy-free and dye-free. Using natural ingredients, these tasty treats are ideal for adults and children with food allergies. Enjoy, my pretties!
Ingredients
- 4-6 small apples
- 20 dates, pitted
- 1 cup almond or flax milk
- ¼ cup vegan butter
- 4-6 tree sticks, cleaned and washed
- 6-8 activated charcoal capsules*
Instructions
- Remove pits from the dates.
- Add all ingredients EXCEPT for charcoal capsules and blend until creamy.
- Add more dates or butter to reach the desired consistency.
- Add charcoal capsules and blend, using additional charcoal for desired color.
- Pour mixture into a bowl and dip your apples into mixture. Repeat.
*Charcoal can interfere with medications and existing health conditions. Please discuss with your doctor before consuming charcoal.
