”Poisoned” Apples

Poisoned” ApplesWhat is fall without caramel apples? This recipe is sugar-free, dairy-free and dye-free. Using natural ingredients, these tasty treats are ideal for adults and children with food allergies. Enjoy, my pretties!


  • 4-6 small apples
  • 20 dates, pitted
  • 1 cup almond or flax milk
  • ¼ cup vegan butter
  • 4-6 tree sticks, cleaned and washed
  • 6-8 activated charcoal capsules*


  1. Remove pits from the dates.
  2. Add all ingredients EXCEPT for charcoal capsules and blend until creamy.
  3. Add more dates or butter to reach the desired consistency.
  4. Add charcoal capsules and blend, using additional charcoal for desired color.
  5. Pour mixture into a bowl and dip your apples into mixture. Repeat.
